Urs Hankeler, Executive Director of the Winter Universiade 2021, expressed his gratitude to the Organising Committee of the Krasnoyarsk Games for successful debriefing—an meeting aimed at passing experience to organizers of future competitions—which was held in the Swiss city of Lucerne, the host city of the Winter Universiade 2021. He sent a letter of thanks to Maxim Urazov, Head of ANO "Executive directorate of the 29th Winter Universiade Krasnoyarsk 2019".
"On behalf of the Winter Universiade 2021 Organising Committee, I would like to thank you and your delegation for sharing your knowledge and your invaluable experience with us at the occasion of the debriefing meeting," Mr. Hunkeler noted. "For us it was a unique opportunity to learn about the possibilities and challenges of organising a Winter Universiade. I would also like to express once more our sincere gratitude for the great hospitality we experienced during the Winter Universiade 2019. To be present at this unique Winter Universiade was inspiring and motivating alike."
Let us remind you that Winter Universiade 2019 Debriefing meeting took place in May of 2019. The event was attended by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) delegates, Winter Universiade 2019 Directorate representatives and the Winter Universiade 2021 Organising Committee. During the event, representatives of the Winter Universiade 2019 Organising Committee gave recommendations on the main preparation areas for the Games, including organisation of sports programme, functioning of Timing and Scoring systems, activities of the Main Operations Centre and interaction with sports delegations.
