Headquartered in Marene, 40km south of Turin (Italy), technical offices in Lausanne (Switzerland), and representative offices in Milan (Italy), Prague (Czech Republic), Paris (France) and Dubai (UAE), it established itself as support timing/data provider in the 90’s (Studio Microplus), initially supplying the results management software and TV-graphics support for major Italian sport events (Athletics, International Rallies, FIS Ski World Cups, International swimming competitions). In the course of time it developed as an independent Data Service and Timing provider (supplying results, TV-graphics, press and media services) gathering important experience in events like the Mediterranean Games in 1997, numerous Alpine Ski events and Nordic Ski World Cup events, Marathons of the city of Turin, Rome, Milan.

During 2005, Microplus was the results and TV graphics provider for some sport events leading up to the XX Winter Olympics in Torino (like the ISU Short Track European Championships, Italian Bobsleigh pre-Olympic trials in the track of Cesana-Pariol). Hundreds of Athletics events in Italy and in many other countries have been handled over the last years. During year 2009 Microplus was the results and TV graphic provider for the EAA European Team Championship 1st League in Bergen (NOR), while for the 13th FINA World Championship Roma 2009 Microplus provided the Historical Database Results & News Press Information System.

Recently, Microplus fully managed the “Jeux de la Francophonie” in Beirut (2009), Nice (2013) and Abidjan (2017), the CAA - African Athletics Championships 2010,2012 and 2014, the Beirut Marathon and the Amman Marathon 2009-2011, the EYOF 2011 in Turkey, the IAAF World Champhionships 2011 in Daegu (KOR) and Lille (FRA) in cooperation with MT & EST, the All Africa Games in Congo in 2015, the Dubai Women’s Run 2012-2013-2016-2017 in Dubai. In 2017, Microplus provided complete Results, Timing, Scoring and TV Graphics service for international multisport events (Islamic Solidarity Games in Azerbaijan, Deaflympics in Turkey, JdF in Ivory Coast).

Microplus is the official software solutions supplier of L.E.N. (European Swimming Federation), F.I.N. (Italian Swimming Federation), F.I.S. (Italian Fencing Federation),  F.I.S.I. ( Italian Ski Federation), F.I.Cr (Timekeepers Federation), (CSA) Chinese Ski Federation and others, as well as timing & scoring provider for the Mille Miglia events since 2009. Moreover, Microplus has acquired a large share of the Italian TV-graphics market by supplying software for Italian Football League “Serie A” and “Serie B”, Basketball, Volleyball and Rugby championships. It has also supplied in the past years, and is currently supplying, data services to Giro D’Italia (cycling). Microplus has a staff of over 50 people, with diverse backgrounds and experiences, covering all areas from Timing, Data Processing services, CIS services, TV graphics and Virtual Graphics, etc. A dedicated team of professionals is capable of assisting customers in the technological management of the event, providing results acquisition, management and distribution, TV graphics, internet and many other services, ensuring a fulfilling experience for the audience and a problem-free service for the organizers.
